Highly collectible vintage Frankoma, and vintage milk glass coffee cups

About this item

This Frankoma mug features an embossed Road Runner bird set against a Southwestern desert landscape with saguaro cactus and rolling terrain. The relief design is crisp and detailed, rendered in Frankoma's signature Desert Gold glaze — a warm, mottled yellow-cream and brown that perfectly evokes the colors of the American Southwest.

The mug has a distinctive squared-off handle with a notched top grip and a scalloped base, both hallmarks of Frankoma's mid-century design aesthetic. The bottom is stamped with the impressed Frankoma mark along with the piece number, C1.

Frankoma Pottery, based in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, produced iconic American stoneware from the 1930s through the early 2000s and remains one of the most collected American art pottery brands.

The Spring Works Collection

The Spring Works Collection takes its name from the season of long days, early mornings, and honest labor,  when ranch hands gather to brand calves, mend fences, and ready the land for what’s ahead.

It’s a time rooted in tradition, where community meets hard work, and every piece of gear has to earn its keep. Inspired by that same rhythm, this collection blends durable cottons and linens with the softness of silk, made to carry you from sun-up chores to slow evenings.

Made to be worn often and worn well, the kind of pieces you work in, live in, and still reach for when the occasion calls. They hold up through grit and move with grace.
